27 August 2018
[Lidköping, Sweden, August 27, 2018.] In the action-filled sixth Mission Impossible movie, the cast uses some of the ultra-rugged computers from Handheld’s product portfolio. The film, which is in cinemas now, follows Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and his IMF team, along with some familiar allies in a race against time after a mission went wrong.
Mission Impossible: Fallout
Since the movie constantly moves at a very fast pace, you have to pay attention to details to notice the devices. A few hints are that the Nautiz X2 rugged handheld is used for scanning wristbands during an event at Paris Grand Palais. You can also find the Nautiz X4 in the hands of a French police, using it for traffic monitoring.
Furthermore, the Algiz 10X also got to represent Handheld’s range of rugged tablets in the film as it’s located next to other gadgets in a sequence filmed below London.
Just as in the previous Mission Impossible film Rogue Nation (2015), Christopher McQuarrie is the director, making him the first person to direct more than one film in the collection. A majority of the cast also reprise their roles from previous films, including Tom Cruise, Ving Rhames, Simon Pregg, Rebecca Ferguson, Sean Harris, Michelle Monaghan and Alec Baldwin.
But the movie also sees some new additions in Henry Cavill, Vanessa Kriby, and Angela Bassett, and of course, Handheld’s rugged computers.
This bestselling film has already broken its predecessor’s records in terms of incomes and has been very well received by its audience, earning an 8,2/10 rating at IMDb.com.
So, if you’re going to the cinemas to see it, look out for rugged computers and enjoy the action!
