Handheld Group appoints Thomas Vallmar as new CEO

[Lidköping, Sweden, January 23, 2024.] Handheld Group, a Swedish manufacturer of rugged mobile computers, announces the appointment of Thomas Vallmar as the new Chief Executive Officer with full responsibility for Handheld’s activities.
Thomas Vallmar joined Handheld Scandinavia as a Sales Manager in 2017 and has since worked closely with Handheld’s reselling partners, putting to use his broad business developing skills to create growth, and profitability and implementing new business strategies. Thomas has well well-documented understanding of the rugged computing industry and possesses a unique blend of experience and knowledge of the market and technology.
In July 2021, he took on the role as the new CEO of Handheld Scandinavia and successfully broadened Handheld’s footprint in the Nordic markets. Before joining Handheld, Thomas held several high-level management roles in industries such as mobile communication, retail, and business consulting.
