Perform a factory reset on NAUTIZ X9 V2

Your device will be unusable for a couple of minutes while performing the reset. When finished you will be faced with the blue Android “Welcome” screen.

Standard

Follow the instructions below to perform a factory reset on Nautiz X9 V2.

Ensure that you have backed-up all your critical data prior to performing a factory reset since this will erase all user data and configurations.
  1. Open your Nautiz X9’s Settings app.
  2. Tap Backup & reset > Factory data reset.
  3. Tap RESET PHONE.
  4. Tap ERASE EVERYTHING.

Advanced

There is also a way to make a factory reset of the unit in case you are unable to boot into the actual Android OS.

Before following the steps below, it’s important to have credentials to the Google-account used on the device in order to successfully perform the factory reset. Also, ensure that you have backed-up all your critical data prior to performing a factory reset since this will erase all user data and configurations.
  1. Power off the unit
  2. Hold the right Scan button and Power button until you see the boot mode menu
  3. Press Volume down to select Recovery Mode
  4. You should see the Android robot (if you see the recovery menu, skip to step 7)
  5. Hold Power and press Volume up to show the recovery menu
  6. Use the volume keys to navigate to Wipe data/Factory reset
  7. Press Power to select
  8. Confirm reset and wait for the process to finish
  9. In the recovery menu, select Reboot system now and press Power

Once these steps have been completed, your Nautiz X9 device will be at the default factory settings.
